    I'm pretty sure that calling someone a "douchebag" for humorous intent or not is protected speech under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

    Douchebag doesn't necessarily mean "unattractive," Owen. From what I saw of the book, if you washed the product out of these guys' hair, pulled up their pants, removed their gold chains, put their shirts on, changed their accents, unpopped their collars, got them to stop sneering, washed off the cologne and got them an education, some of them would be really hot!

    @SaraRueful: seriously. all it would take in most cases would be a simple icepick lobotomy to turn them into your obedient brown eyed cumdump with abs of steel - until the drooling annoyed you, and then you just go find another one down at the jersey shore. it's a foolproof plan I tell you, I saw it on CSI !!!

    @Shannon: Probably not. If you're just a regular person and you're photographed in public, are you allowed to get royalties? I thought there was something about "reasonable expectation of privacy" or something that excluded you then.

    @braak: Hmm. I guess I was unsure because this guy is going to be making money off of their images. When you get photographed I thought that you had to sign a release form in order for them to use it? Otherwise what's to stop me from collecting any theme of other's images on the internet and publishing a book? If I was in there I'd definitely try to make some money off it, especially if I couldn't stop it from being published... the whole thing seems like it's missing a link to me, you know what I'm saying?

    @Shannon: Yeah, I don't know for sure, actually. I think it has to do a lot with where you get the pictures from--and we're still not precisely clear on which of the photos on his website he's actually using.


    But then, an AP photographer who takes a picture of a crowd shot at the inauguration doesn't have to get releases from all of the people in it in order to sell that picture to a newspaper, does he?
