    Is it me or is there a whole subset of these native New Yorker types who think that the city is somehow "theirs" and that everyone else should go home? Tourists annoy me as much as they do anyone else, but I have some bad news: I came here to stay and I brought my man bag with me. And my irritating Southern accent. And the interjections "please" and "thank you."

    How is it possible that someone can be a "native" New Yorker and not know Williamsburg? I grew up in cow country and we read "The Chosen" in high school. I went to Williamsburg two weeks after arriving in New York City because I was haunted by the beauty of that book. What an assjack.
