    Let's not forget that this guy's a single-termer who also put the economy into the shitter. (Hence the loss to Bill Clinton, who came in and cleaned up Bush's mess just like Obama's going to.)

    the bay of pigs thing is a ref to a wonderful old lefist conspiracy theory centered around the fact that three of the ships involved were named Barbara, Houston & Zapata. jeez guys you all act so smart and you didn't even know that george bush was secretly directing the bay of pigs invasion for the cia!

    I know a psychiatrist who believes that after the age of 30 or so people pretty much have to stop blaming their parents. A source in Houston also told me that HW was an involved parent, so he tried, anyway.

    @carolinemccarthy: yes but according to my Floridian parents, the eldest son is JFK-like handsome, is incredibly bright, and has stayed out of trouble. In their expert opinions, we have not seen the last of the Bush clan. Jeb may be a lost cause, but the son is being groomed for a run in 12 years.
