I think if Jeff Goldblum died, I would have been way more upset than I was about Michael Jackson. Maybe because I'm sexually atracted to The Godlblum. Am I alone in this?
Anyway, I'm sad for MJ and glad JG is alive and well. And Harrison Ford.
@mimigoliath: I used to have a thing for him, too, until I saw him once in mom jeans and midwest-librarian glasses, hitting on a pretty brunette 20 years younger (true story).
@Tart of Darkness: And if you do count David Carradine, doesn't that mean that MJ started a new round of three and two more are coming? Ford and Goldblum, I'm lookin at you.
Betty Allen, mezzo-soprano and T. Scott Cunningham, off-Broadway actor (whose face was probably familiar to tons of people who didn't know his name), also this week.
Obit pages in Variety have been looking like a plague is sweeping the land...
@Unsolicited Advice: Totally forgot about Ed. Yikes. OK, we'll have to start another circle, though I am wondering if (as poster below noted) it means Carradine-McMahon-Fawcett is one circle and Jackson-Cronkite-Person X will be another.
@JohanPaladin: @mfnher: Oh, good call--Bea Arthur was totally recent enough. I forgot about Dom DeLouise...I don't know if that really answers the question though because I never really knew anything about him but his name anyway.
