That "pitching" reference reminds me of the study that came from Sweden years ago equating the pleasure of orgasm with the pleasure of sneezing. It made me think that either they were doing sex wrong, or I really REALLY needed to take sneezing lessons from those people.
it's funny, I only knew of Levar Burton from his appearances on $25,000 Pyramid, usually following a dirty double-entendre couplet from Nipsey Russell..
Here's a bit of trivia for you on LeVar Burton. Guy's a total dousche nozzle. At an even in Atlanta a few years back he was asked for ID when trying to write a check and flipped the frak out over it. Maybe if he had put an air filter over his eyes.........
Considering that Apple just rolled out one of the most jaw-dropping suite of technologies to help the blind websurf (I know!), for what HAS to be a tiny market, finding gushing hateraide fountains at 1 Infinate Loop must be quite the challenge.
This aside from the fact that their new OS supports actually writing characters directly on the trackpad (which is some kind of awesome if you've ever tried writing the Mandarin, Cantonese or Hira/Kata/Kanji syllabaries).
Not to be fanboyish, but Apple just did some damned amazing stuff to make it substantially easier to use Asian languages, and opened up websurfing to the sight-impaired (the latter for what must be little financial payback).
On other words, I find this malevolence quite under-inspiring compared to what actual Apple developers do as part of their normal workday.
@Trai_Dep: Yeah, I don't gush often, and I certainly don't hate either, but after hearing about this, and then realizing all of my Korean pop albums have to be translated into English for the characters to not show up as squares on my Zune (which does not support any Asian font, aside from a crack on an earlier version of the software), I have great love for what Apple is doing. This got through the cracks, and I imagine it will be rectified shortly.
I'm so glad someone else was impressed by the tech for the blind, I thought it was cool.

If she *is* as hairy as all that, no harm done -- we can spend long rainy Valley Village nights plucking her like a kosher chicken.
