Two attacks on Israelis were reported on Wednesday as the military deployed 300 soldiers to reinforce 4,000 police officers i cities across the country, the Associated Press reports. In east Jerusalem, authorities erected concrete barriers outside Arab neighborhoods.

Fighting between Israel and the Palestinian people entered its fourth day today, and eight Palestinians were killed by Israeli fighter jets targeting Hamas government compounds, tunnels and transformers. That brought the overall death toll to at least 45, with all but three of those being Palestinians.
A rabbinical court in Jerusalem has sentenced a dog to stoning, according to Behadrei Hadarim, a Hebrew website for ultra-Orthodox Jews. The sentencing came after a large dog wandered into the Monetary Affairs Court in the neighborhood of Mea Shearim.
