    So Larry King's producers (do they moonlight at the Bravo Network?) are giving these creepy crawlers a showcase Monday night, to talk about their Excellent White House Adventure, and record optimum camera angles in their ongoing and so far successful bid to land a spot on the reality series? We're slipping fast, people.

    I think what is really sad is that we live in this post 9-11 world where tons of personal freedoms have been washed away and privacy is a quaint concept at best, yet two ding-a-lings with delusions can crash a Presidential event... And that this even happened after some loonball in the military who everyone knew was a loonball went all loonball and killed people on an Army base.

    Which is all to say: So we're sacrificing all of this privacy and personal freedom for what exactly? It's pretty clear that any loon can get into--and do--whatever they want despite the best protections of those in charge.

    But thank goodness nobody can bring large bottles of shampoo and conditioner on airplanes, and people have to have their shoes check at the airport, right?

    Good effing lord.

    @SpyMagician: I think you are on to something here. With all of the sophisticated technology at our disposal these days, there doesn't seem to be any benefit. It's like a bunch of keystone cops out there.

    It doesn't surprise me cause things like the financial meltdown happened right under the nose of all of the regulators, etc. It's a free-for all I tell ya!! And it's beginning to make me nervous.

    The first thing I thought of when I saw this was another couple who crashed DC parties--Kenneth and Sante Kimes, back in the 1970s. Mrs. Kimes and her son, also named Kenneth, murdered their wealthy NYC landlady a few years ago and are serving life in prison.

    @netfe: Most of the Fox "personalities" don't usually deal in those sorts of nuanced detail. They'd rather use the term to describe the follower of the "scary" faith, as opposed to the ethnic group. So for them, he's a Muslim.

    @adiam7: I heard of a woman who wasn't Christian, who married a man who wasn't Christian (her fourth time around, his fifth, I believe) and she donated a quarter of a million dollars to some church in Paris "for renovations" so they could be the first couple married in the church since the fall of the monarchy. It'd cost four times that much now, of course.

    @Claire Buoyant: Nice find. It starts with the cartoon bells, and I didn't think it could get worse, but this does not disappoint! My favorite? Black singer, sandwiched between two priests, making the most uncomfortable reverse Hydrox at a wedding on record. If there's a prize for that, Salahis FTW.

    @raincoaster: This is a pretty typical -- even restrained -- Chaldean wedding video, which means St. Matthew's is fair game. Mr. Salahi resembles all the Chaldean men in my family, so I suspected, but when I saw the wedding video I knew for sure.
