Wow is that a scary comment. "Allowing." Really? In 2009, a husband "allows" their wife to have a career? And then demands that in exchange she have another baby?

Did anyone else read that item and see how horribly, horribly sexist it is.

"A source tells British magazine Now, "Tom believes Katie needs to focus on their family again. She's had her time being 'Katie Holmes' instead of just Tom's wife, but in return she agreed to have a second child as soon as that time's over. In Tom's eyes, that's now."

This is just fucking amazingly sexist. Can you sue for divorce on the grounds of "slavery?"

@drunkexpatwriter: She can sue for divorce for whatever she wants. But she doesn't. She's a grown woman with her own means of support (and honestly, I don't give much of a pass to women who stay with abusers -- of whatever form -- using that as an excuse), and IF she is miserable, well, that's her own fault. I certainly don't pity her.

I've never had anal sex with a girl, because the idea of being in a vagina gets me hard, but the idea of being in an asshole doesn't.

Neither of you have obviously never worked with abuse victims which explains your complete ignorance. It's called the cycle of abuse. Google that shit before you go around blaming the victim. It's the ignorance of people like you that keep women of all economic standings in abusive relationships.

But frankly I have no idea whether or not Katie Holmes is in an abusive relationship, but I just thought you guys needed to wise up based on your comments.

The women *I* have known have stayed with the prick using the excuse that they didn't have any job experience, no college degree, whatever, and thus had to stay with him for food and a place to live. That is the only excuse I've ever heard (I'm sorry, I didn't grow up around rich abused women, just poor ones) and Katie can't use it. Assuming she's even unhappy (which I said -- "IF" -- in my original post. But apparently you are too far up on your high horse to read it properly).
