    I think last year 30 Rock debuted around Halloween. So this is not great, but not totally unexpected. And I have high hopes for Community.

    I hate Jay Leno too, and I can't believe they're putting him on every night! Oh, is it 10 already? Naw, I don't want to watch another cop show... Actually, I'm kinda sleepy. Really, Jessica Alba and the kid from "Two and a Half Men"? Okay, fine, I'll watch for a minute... Wow, the way he repeats unfunny punch lines is lulling me into a stupor... Ha, stupid people on the street sure are stupid... Jessica, why don't you have anything to say about anything? Oh, look, Blink 182 is back... Blrgls bladrglll... zzzzzz.......

    Privileged was such a great, cute show--they just marketed it all wrong.


    It kept getting billed as some kind of companion to Gossip Girl, when really it was more like Gilmore Girls.


    Also the gay wedding in the season finale, and the rich girl and her conservative boyfriend discussing it, was probably one of the more nuanced looks at gay rights/religious conflict you will ever see in a program on the CW. (Which, granted, isn't saying much, but it was an adorable show.)

    @tunamelt: I liked Privileged a lot. Sad to see it go. Joanna Garcia and Lucy Hale (and Dave Franco!) will hopefully be picked up by other series soon.

    @tunamelt: Agreed wholeheartedly. I was totally prepared to hate yet another show about spoiled rich brats and wannabes and was so pleasantly surprised at the actual content. The show exhibited more realistically flawed characters, interesting dialogue, and true-to-life situations than just about any other remotely similar show I've seen, not to mention the first homosexual, interfaith, interracial wedding I've ever seen. The CW definitely effed this one up bigtime.

    I think they need to bring some more interesting ensemble characters onto Parks and Recreation... stat. Amy Poehler is great, but the people they have her paired with are weak.

    Jay Leno is a fucking tool. And it's good that his show is moving to 10. That way his rapidly ageing audience don't have to stay up and slip in a new catheter to watch his big chinned one line "takedowns" of celebrities.
