Now in your defense she may have blessed this tome and I am not aware of it but this article makes no mention of that.
This is no different than me writing a book about Obama and putting "facts" in there wherever I please.
We have no idea, at this point, that she has ever seen those speeches before. We have some guy who heard it from some guy who supposedly knows yet you people feel comfortable bashing and damning someone with zero facts.

Would she fight to get on stage and deliver a speech she had never seen before that moment? A speech that included passages like the one above that are more personal than a normal speechwriter writer would include?
She may not have written this book or the text of the speeches, but according to the authors she fought like hell to deliver those speeches. Seems unlikely she would do so without ever seeing them or approving of them. #sarahpalin

This basically looks like another hit piece. These aren't facts. These things did not happen. She did not read any speeches. We don't know if she "fought" to give a speech.
Even if she did "fight" to give a speech we have no idea if she was actually going to use one of these speeches.
We have some guy who wrote a book and got some info from some other guy who was sure something might have happened at some time. Yep that is solid concrete evidence right there.
The problem now is that so much Palin bashing has gone on with no factual basis behind it or any desire for most news organizations to dig up said facts that anything said about her is now suspect. #sarahpalin

She resigned as Governor because she had no desire to run for another term and was limited in the amount of work she could do as a now world famous person. She had 19 plus ethics complaints, all dismissed I believe, and was spending thousands of her and the state's dollars defending against them.
Seems like a good reason to step down to me. Sounds responsible.
If you were a parent then you would know you don't get as much say as you might think in what your teenage daughter does. This actually goes against the stereotype of Palin as some bible thumper as she knew her daughter was having sex yet restrained herself from locking her in a tower somewhere. Teen pregnancies are unfortunate but they happen to people in all walks of life.
You opinion on her speaking skills are yours as that is a subjective thing. I however watched her at the NRC give her speech after her teleprompter went down and thought she did a great job. Much better than our current Speaker in Chief tends to do when his teleprompter has a hiccup.

What's your theory on why Mark "I heart Latinas" Sanford isn't stepping down? Sanford isn't getting slammed every day in the press. Sanford doesn't have blogs devoted to tearing him down. Sanford doesn't have people filing frivolous ethics complaints one after another. Shit I haven't heard anything about him in a while.
Was she trying to cash in? Sure why not. You think that would bother me? Not really. She had done about all that would be possible to do there. While she was in public office she was a sitting duck.
There was no outcry from the Alaskans. They understood why she was stepping down and her Lt. Gov was able.
Look now she is nothing more than a private citizen with a facebook account and she has more influence than ever.
On the last part. If you want to go after people keeping the "queers" from getting married I suggest you look to your new Pres, VP, SecState, etc. They don't seem to care either. #sarahpalin

Before being selected VP nominee she had a +70% approval rating, broke against the incumbent Republicans, started negotiating a new pipeline, and got a corrupt cop fired.
In her short time as Governor she has accomplished more than the current President ever did.

Second, if the pipeline was so fucking important, why isn't she sticking around the see it through? And, you gotta ask with every Alaska pol: who's getting paid?
Third, she bankrupted Wasilla in the only other political job she had before her aborted try at being governor (too hard!) by forcing a hockey rink on the town that the town couldn't afford and didn't need.
The trooper thing: First, if it's as you say and he was corrupt, big fucking deal. Government officials firing corrupt government officials is called doing your fucking job.
But second, the Republicans on her state's ethics committee seemed to think it was a mite more personal with her and her (non-elected) husband. So...weird thing for you to cite.
But the truth is, you don't have much. Looks like you are the one who needs to do some research and stop spouting nonsense you read on the Republican hivemind sites.

Once again do a little research. See I was lucky enough to do all my research the night she was announced before she was news. Everything pointed to her doing a pretty fucking outstanding job.
Second, you do know the pipeline is a multibillion/multiyear deal right? I am sure you would know that if you weren't too busy in theater or women's studies. Maybe if she would have been left alone she would have done more. Regardless it isn't something you knock out in a week.
