I wanted to be there for Michael, really I did. But he was just so needy. All I ever got from him was "Help me, MisterHippity. Stay with me. Talk to me. Listen to my problems. Give me advice." It was all take take take, with no giving back. Finally I just couldn't take it any more.

I guess you're right, John Perry Barlow. I'm to blame. I wasn't there when he needed me. I guess I'm just gonna have to have that on my conscience for the rest of my life.
