I like Perry. He has aged incredibly well and I fancy him the Simon Doonan of Indie Rock.

Man, Perry F. during his early '90s herron days in L.A. was a magnificent freak of Richter scale magnitude. Now he sounds like a nice bourgeois person with a cushy tour bus and dubious musical taste. The Bravery? This from the guy who belted out, "Motherf*cker.. Gimme some more!" while wearing women's clothing on stage?!

Ah, the sweet bird of youth has fled the coop. I'm wistful today.

@snugbug: Regardless, Perry always had the attention whore thing lurking in the background, but it was hidden by the alt-rock SoCal swagger, which we all know is a game for the young.
Once the bloom faded, all that remained was the douche.

@lil red: No idea! I've seen raccoons in Central Park, before, and I think I saw one in Madison Square Park, once. Anyway, I had a daydream and imagined him running away from the circus to work in fashion PR after reading too many Lauren Weisberger books, and that this was the result.

@lil red: They float in on discarded mattresses and oil barrels that break off the Jersey shore. Either that or the raccoon tunnels beneath the Broadway Bridge from Riverdale.
