    @saythatscool: I'm a little naive about the pigmentation nuances of the ball sack area. Why does the scrotum appear to be a darker color than the rest of the body?

    There would be presumably be a greater density of blood vessels close to the skin, as well as the shadowing effects of ruggae (folds).


    Roy Blount, Jr. wrote an absolutely hilarious essay on these man-parts in the 1980s.

    @Smitros: @saythatscool: Thank you both for the information and confirmation. I always thought they had a kind of a darker, almost purplish cast. But I haven't seen that large a segment of the population to be absolutely sure it wasn't just my own experience.


    Looking forward to the review on Byte's package.
