Holy shit, I just realized I know her husband. He's a cool, down-to-earth guy, if perhaps a little cheesy in some ways (the harlem shakes=vampire weekend redux). I'm guessing she's about the same, which still puts her miles ahead of Allison.

She gives cooking tips? She appears to be cooking on the ground, a few feet away from a DOG. She does appear to be more interesting than Julia though.

Non-Society is: "an online social platform wherein the contributors share their opinions
via their personalities with an interactive audience."

A tip for the Non-Society board of directors: When Non-Society's contributors begin "sharing their opinions" via something other than their "personalities" -- say, for instance, "their naked boobies" -- the audience will grow and become truly "interactive."

Who is Allison's target market? I can't relate to any of her lifecasters. For what it's worth, I'm 28, married for 4 years, homeowner who does a lot of DIY, working my way up the corporate ladder and a new mom. Pretty average for most of the country.

I do enjoy Mary's blogs occasionally - she seems the most 'real'. I deleted Megan Asha from my RSS completely - what a bore. I read Allison for kicks. The things she lifecasts are never what is really going on in her life according to sites like Gawker. She lives in a dream world.

I just looked at Jordan's Lifecast and seriously - How to make a grilled cheese? Has she never done anything for herself??

If I am gonna go by Jordan Reid's kitchen table, she speaks the truth when she says she is NOT an interior designer. This is re-confirmed after looking at her blog. Just because it's mismatched, doesn't mean it's cozy.

@moissie: And since she appears to be cooking on the floor without pants on, and using an oven mitt to hold a rolling pin, I think she speaks the truth when she says she is not a chef.

This dope wasn't recruited through any ad, nor was she "discovered" working at a law firm. Jordan is friends with a guy JA has been trying desperately to date. This is how JA stays in her stalking victim's inner circle.

This arrangement is not going to last long. There's no room in this clique for a younger, much better looking and better pedigreed lioness, especially one who (unlike poor Ms. Baugher) has managed to snag a man. Julia's outsize ego and insecurities just won't allow this to work.

@hamburgerhotdog: I dunno. She looks like she's been pummeled vigorously about the face. Perhaps, she and Rambin got into a scuffle over who got to wear the condom bustier and matching earrings. Julia, of course, won out over the poor waif. Hell hath no fury like a neurotic fameball scorned.

I really don't understand how these girls make money. I mean, I get that people pay them to shill products, but why? I'm not even convinced that Meghan Asha really exists. What does that girl do? Her blog, ahem, "lifecast", is a bunch of blurry pictures of her and her friends and some boring text messages that people sent her. I call 'shop on the whole thing. Based on the attached image, I think it's a Richard D. James viral campaign. Cow Cud is a Twin.
