Richard, just so you know, to a young Spirit Fingers Shelly Duvall and Robin Williams in Popeye was just about the best thing ever. Someone I know, maybe perhaps, has the movie soundtrack on freakin vinyl! (Shut up youth with your iPoding doohickeys. Vinyl with scratches, and skipped lyrics, and a penny on the arm! Classic.)
This person would totally pay to see it on Broadway. Twice! It was simply divine.
Ah, Green Card. The movie that taught me that I could get deported if I don't know what f*cking cold cream my girlfriend uses.
As for My Father the Hero, I appreciate that everyone's repulsion at the apparent May-December romance is mitigated somewhat by the fact that he is French.

Right? Before my work contract was renewed I was terrified I'd have to ask a male friend to marry me. I was stressing about how much money he'd want as well as what soap and stuff he uses. (No idea if the French do it the same as in the U.S., but I was worried.)
