Won't somebody PLEASE think about the children!! As Lenny Bruce remarked (some 50 years ago...) we allow our children to witness violence and murder, but don't let them see two people making love...they might want to do that when they grow up...(and I paraphrase, of course...he didn't use the words "making love"....)
Okay, I may have to sound like a little prudish on this one (which, being an artist I've seen more naked women than a gynecologist so I'm not shocked by much), but the Arms and Armor exhibit is probably second to the mummies with the kinders. So, picking this gallery was pre-meditated prickishness.
If he had done this at 8 pm on a Friday, it would have kinder-free and she probably would have gotten an ovation -- or, at least a date.
I think the nude near nudes argument might hold up, but the fellow's kind of undercutting his position by talking so openly about waiting until the guard is turned and his other preparations for the shoot.
It seems to me that either you think it's right, or you know it's wrong and actively trying to hide it from the cops isn't an act of civil disobedience.
Fair is fair, people. I tried to take pics in the ladies' locker room and I got busted too. Why should Hyman get special treatment because his are "art" and mine are "creepy"?
