Is it possible to ask a multiple-part question without coming off as an irritating d-bag? I'm skeptical.

I imagine your two most satisfying options at this point are to try harder to add something substantive, or else to spend your valuable time on pursuits other than making pointless, content-free posts on websites where you're destined to be ignored.

I was getting a little down on the big O -- not seizing the reins, hedge fund giveaway on this latest toxic asset thing, etc -- but that bitchslap made me remember my love.

All Obama has to say is, "We believe strongly in our proposals, and at the same time we're committed to working with the people's representatives on Capitol Hill, who we think at the end of the day will agree that our proposals are important to getting this country moving forward again."
OK, Obama didn't quite say that here, but I'll bet next time he's asked such a pointless question, his answer will be somewhere in that ballpark. And nothing new will be revealed. The question about future deficits was a lot more substantive, imho.
