However, even that is beside the point, really. Because my problem with Fox isn't that it's conservative. They have every right to be as conservative as they like, if they'd only be honest about it. What they don't have a right to do is to consistently misrepresent opinion as fact, misreport events, and create news, while pretending to be a "fair and balanced" source of information. #keitholbermann

People can call MSNBC "left leaning" but they regularly give Pat Buchanan airtime for his crazy old time republican nonsense, and Joe Scarborough (un)Fair his own show. The best that Fox could do was let Alan Colmes meekly defend the left from time to time. #keitholbermann

WeepyVP JoeEither this new crop of staff writers is utterly fucked, or the editorial direction has taken a nosedive, or both.
Is there some negative correlation between the quality of stories and the quality of AJAX/CSS? #joebiden

WeepyVP JoeThat being said, why are we posting crap from Fox News anyway - I thought we weren't supposed to take this stuff seriously?

Having practiced at an NHS hospital in Manchester, UK, I'll tell you no system is perfect. And, newsflash, whether you're talking about Denmark, Sweden, UK, or Canada there are brazen inequities.
No one is actually entitled to anything in life. No one TODAY is innately entitled to care from a doctor anymore than people were thousands of years ago (ohhh, all those uninsured cavemen and women! how did they do it?!) . We've decided we'll fight for people's rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Fair enough. But I'm not going to fight for your right to demand that a doctor treat you. As cold as it is to say, the frank reality is it's not a human right.
The truth of the matter is we have a system that, for all its flaws, works for most. There are free-market solutions to address cost and aid the uninsured and under-insured. If you don't want to hear it, you don't want to hear it.

But anyone with firing synapses is bound to realize that nobody thinks universal health care will be a "utopian mecca."
They *will* argue, however, that it absolutely *is* a human right. And you might mount a reasonable argument against that idea -- but nothing you said actually addresses it at all. You basically just used several dozen words to say "me no like universal health care. And also, Liberty good"
The reason that what you say sounds cold (basically, "I got mine, and everyone else can go to hell") is because it *is* cold. Heartless, really, but also clueless. Come back in 15 or 20 years and tell us how well the system is still going for "most."

Your opinion on Olbermann's actions last night is in the minority, where the average IQ is 5.
