    Asbury Park, NJ is hip enough for Bravo? I have a feeling if you asked someone with a house in the Hamptons if they vaycay in Asbury, they'd laugh at you. Or do the boys hang out at another Asbury Park that I'm not aware of?

    @ZandraAegisthus: It's a logical extension of The Real Housewives concept, and in its way, is actually pro-gay.

    See, gay people have something VERY important in common with straight people - some of us can be unlikeable, shallow, materialistic, ill-mannered asshats. This realization - that we're not all Rachel Maddow and Dan Savage clones - is quite humanizing.

    Of course, it's showcasing the ugly among us. But that fact that we have such specimens of gayness means that we're just like everyone else - and deserve to be treated equally.

    Whitewashing the public image of Teh Gay is counterproductive. No one believes we're all perfect, and no one believes we're all glitter-farting screamy jackasses. (Except maybe Phelpses.)

    Me? I'll be watching this shizz with a bowl of popcorn, waiting for tables to fly and occasionally yelling "PROS-TA-TWO-SHUN WHOOOOORE!"
