    @Aatom: Half of the ads I see on Facebook seem to be for gay cruises these days. Perhaps they'd be more effective with Lorenzo and friends as spokesmen!

    Useless piece of trivia #1*: In Australia, we affectionally refer to those fetching, teensy-weensy bathers as 'budgie-smugglers'. 'Budgie' = 'budgerigar' = small bird.

    Just in case people miss the fey faux-francophone tone, please know that devoté is not a word—not in English nor in French. The word in English is devotee. There is no such word in French (only dévot, meaning devout). Owen probably invented a Frenchified devotee to make Pell’s love of gay beaches seem frankly frivolous (as though the photo weren’t evidence enough). So much for Francophone frippery.
