You @airvault: Yeah, you know, that article actually did enrich my understanding of him. From all I've read about MJ, it seemed his formative education was staggeringly incomplete---belt school system, infrequent tutoring between shows and recording sessions, hostile home situation--so this is a slight positive, I guess.
@gawkimo: When Farrah died, God said he would grant her one wish. She asked that all the children in the world be safe from harm. So God killed Michael.
@MisterHippity: Ha ha well, speaking as a guy who was a big stamp wonk before he was a music wonk, I can tell you your concern is a little premature: the USPS waits the minimum of ten years before somebody's death before issuing a stamp with their picture. (The only exception: Presidents. It's a year for them.) MJ's sordid life might dissuade them from issuing something quite so soon; on the other hand, they've been somewhat less scrupulous about that kind of thing in recent years thanks to all the money they can get from famous-people stamps.

Corey Feldman tried to bait the press with that "Michael and I stopped talking on the day before 9/11" comment, but even Larry King wasn't biting.

What's the difference between Neil Armstrong and Michael Jackson. . .
Neil Armstrong walked on the moon.
Michael Jackson. . .
had unhealthy relationships with young boys.
. . .
(It's too soon, isn't it?)
