    I would have to vote against the Governator. "Annie" says she only learned he was married afterwords, and I think most people know that he is married already. Also, I'm pretty sure he would take the full hour.

    Jindal I could see not lasting the full hour very easily.

    I'll say this in defense of Rendell: from what I've heard, there's no shortage of cute democrat girls who are willing to sleep with him for free, so I doubt it's him. Plus I like him.

    It can't be Jindall, Gibbons, Crist or Patrick. They were not governors when the incident took place.

    The other four are legitimate contenders, as is Tim Kaine of Virginia.

    @BlairPylades: The article doesn't say with certainty that he was governor at the time, but that the client was or is a governor.

    Didn't Ken Starr, Paula Jones or someone obtain testimony from Bill Cinton's State Police protection and didn't Sanford's guards say that he'd often slip away without them?

    If "Annie's" story is true and if the client was governor at the time, then somebody sworn out there, knows or suspects the truth.

    I feel that Arnold is too noticeable to be sneaking around with prostitutes in expensive hotels, restaurants without page 6 knowing about it. But who would recognize Gibbons are Rendel on the street?

    My heart would love for it to have been Mitt Romney, but the "prominent wife" thing probably rules him out.

    And, though I really don't know much about the man, but looking through the Wikipedia list of sitting governors, thus far, Martin O'Malley of Maryland looks like a more likely suspect.

    @Magister: OK - There were almost career-derailing rumors of infidelity; There have been questions about an illegal contribution and a highway project, plus his wife is a judge from a political family.

    Since Spitzer met up with his "date" in DC on occasion, it could further lead to Schwarzenegger given Maria is from the DC 'burbs. And I definitely would buy that Maria wasn't giving him the "sort of affection."

    Having said that, unless "Annie" has been under a rock, she would likely have been well aware that Schwarzenegger was married and to whom.

    So, I'd put money on Rendell.

    @LeftCoastLady: While it's certainly possible that Annie boasts of intellectual abilities that aren't immediately apparent to the, uh, naked eye, it's also entirely possible that she doesn't. Have you ever seen an episode of Jaywalking? People can be really, really dumb. Which is to say, I'm still betting Arnold.
