    Any elementary school kid would know that was an asinine idea and these people are running the government. Jesus. He should be fired.


    I hope Bloomberg raises holy hell. Do people really not understand the level of collective PTSD this city has and that this would cause fear and panic?

    @Go Like Hell Machine: this is just one of many screw ups not to mention this is just something that should not have happened. Do you want more examples of when our government has screwed up? Can you name anything that the federal government does well?

    @Lincolnsbeard33: Yeah, that clean air act never worked! Neither did the Voting Rights Act of 1965, or the Civil Rights Act of the same year! And that whole Rural Electrification project totally blew. So did keeping us from getting blowed up in a nuclear war! And geez, that family and medical leave act is totally worthless, just like motor voter laws and mental health parity. Fucking government sucks at everything ever!

    @AvenueOfTheStrongest: Just a small point: it is not Air Force One unless the President is aboard (thank you History Channel! or was it Discovery Channel?!) so it is called the "big ass plane" until that time.
