On the back of a manila folder, Bill jots down his three populist talking points for each segment. He then regurgitates them, regardless of what a guest -- especially a razor-sharp smart one like The Hitch -- might say. Bill's EveryMan shtick is so transparently absurd and ill-fitting that even he seems to have grown tired of it. No matter. He will keep milking it as long as the $15 mil per year keeps rolling in.

If that's the best you can do to come up with things against O'Reilly it's pretty pathetic. It makes no sense that every one of our navy pilots gets the water board yet we can't do it to terrorists to protect millions of people. McCain was wrong on that also. So what? Is it worth it to wipe out possibly millions of American's just to be politically correct? I have trouble feeling sorry for people who think the way to get to heaven and have 72 virgins to boot is to kill women and children of other religions. Books were written by mortals but where did logic come from?

@brh92128: Dude, if you don't understand that political correctness plays absolutely no role in our adamance against torture, you might not share any DNA with logic to begin with.

We're against torture because it's cruel, immoral and we wouldn't want the other guy doing it to us. You know, good old-fashioned Judeo-Christian Americana, the very stuff of Jesus' teachings. (Unless you prefer your saviors the way Mark Driscoll envisions them: [www.nytimes.com])

Show me evidence that it has protected "millions of American's," and then we can talk.

Attention, dumbfucks: torture doesn't work. It is counter-productive. It generates bad, misleading intelligence, wastes money and time and recruits more impressionable poor brown people to strap bombs onto themselves to avenge the tortured. It hurts us, hurts our cause and wastes our money.
