Great, great, I've got some old copies of Broken Pencil and Maisonneuve around here somewhere. I was just gonna put 'em on eBay, but this is way better.
I like that Glob blog, but "zine night" is going to be a few over-the-hill cokeheads hanging out in the store babbling about the 90s. Let's keep it real.
Zines went a long way toward giving the 1990s some sort of character, so I can't hate. And some stores, like Quimby's in Chicago and Atomic in Baltimore, have kept the zine flame alive to this day.
