I saw the Invention of Lying last night. it was god awful. I left half-way through, came home to watch Extras, and forgave Gervais for that monstrosity and $12.50 I had just wasted.
I saw a preview screening of Zombieland and it rocked, even though Jesse Eisenberg seemed to be doing a dead-on Michael Cera impression throughout the movie. Very funny, very clever, and with the best title sequence since Duplicity (though, unlike Duplicity, the rest of the film is actually good, too).
@dolemite1975: Ugh, seriously? There aren't enough good movie selections out there as is, let alone with a Hollywood blacklist.
I figure these celebs were friends of Polanski's and are too partial to make a fair assessment of this situation. Boycott Polanski, but we shouldn't hold it against his friends.
i am so glad i missed this because having to sit thru another spastic david archuleta disneyfest would've made me violently ill. ugh what a horrible little muppet.
I had forgotten how much I hated the simpering little face of David Archuleta until he appeared on my TV last night. I just have this urge to kick him. Very hard.
The disco acts were embarrasing to watch. I mean, I was cringing AND covering my ears. KC was actually the best of the lot, licking his lips whilst looking off stage right for any sort of "Hey, didja at least like my slightly-tight red shirt?" approval from the audience.

How many Spanx® did it take to make him look like he ate himself and then shat himself into an untucked shirt and sansabelt slacks?
