Tomato/Tomahto if you ask me... #tomcruise

A ritual is a concrete physical act endowed with spiritual meaning. I fail to see the spiritual meaning behind shifting bottles and ashtrays "just to prove that you can." Then again, I'm not that familiar with the profound scholarship of Scientology. #tomcruise

Catholicism being the big one, where it's not a symbolic act, it's literally the body and the blood of Christ according to la Pope. #tomcruise

If you step back, and embed this ritual into a larger mythological and religious context, it's clearly symbolic. Beautifully symbolic, too. #tomcruise

While it may be accepted for a practicing Catholic to state that they take some things with a grain of salt (there-by reducing the shock-impact pf a blunt statement such as "this cracker is jesus-flesh), it seems a bit unfair to pull this card when the comparison religion is polarized.
I am not defending scientology, I am just saying that your defense of the eucharist is unfair, because when presented seriously (a la Pope), it is just as wacky.
Suppose I am saying that just because you don't subscribe to the super wacky version yourself doesn't make it any less so. #tomcruise

I'd also like to introduce a motion to name the process of needlessly levitating small things "Cruise control." #tomcruise
