    @wry_bred: I did my very best to kill that phrase in the Jessica Cutler thread. I mean, if doing what she did to her johns' wives wasn't "girl on girl crime," then nothing was. What a screechy bunch of nasty hypocrites over there.


    As I've said since my banning, that place has long become a caricature of feminism, and I'm not terribly sorry to have been forced off of there. It was a pointless time-waster, really.

    Thankfully, our wise and wonderful editor reinstated me on appeal.


    The comment in question was labeled "trite" and "illiterate".


    So much for writing stoned. And so much for mocking oprah. Truth be told, being banned from commenting on gawker reminded me how much I value this community.

    These days I think a bit before I unleash my wit on the world.

    @stanhalen: I was once banned by Moe for not being on the Obama train; I dared to support Hillary. She even called me a bitch in the comments.


    I got reinstated through Gawker, but rarely comment anymore over there. Too many rules, too many rulers, too much hypocracy.

    @Housebroken(mostly): Agreed. The only thing more mundane and uninteresting than these tweets is a blog post aggregating them. Doesn't Owen have some "mainstream-media-outlets-are-failing-and-don't-know-what-to-do-about-it" posts he can marshal?
