    also: tpm did amazing work on the libby/cheney/plame affair; i think it earned them solid cred with the old guard journos for covering it the way it should be covered, with facts and analysis and viewpoint and attitude and, well, saying that outing plame was treason motivated by two-bit vengeance politics of the lowest order


    tpm is the future of journalism, imho: serious, immediate, real reporting without the veil of so-called objectivity, and doing thedeep digging and asking for the crowd sourcing


    it will be interesting to see how cooper makes the leap from competent insider who traded access for keeping secrets (as they all do) to the more focused truth telling spirit of tpm
