@lobstr: i hope allison sings either "macarthur park" or "don't leave me this way". lil rounds will probably murder a different donna summer song but if we're lucky she will murder "don't leave me this way"! gokey is going to spittle-growl "disco inferno," i'm certain of this. anoop will sing "how deep is your love" despite it not really being disco because fuck if he is going to sing anything faster than "total eclipse of the heart" ever, ever again.

i can't bring myself to care enough to pick songs for richard's bff kris or for this matt character.

There is not a chance I will be able to watch Idol in the future and not see Randy with a spiky turtle shell on his back.

Other random thought: It's so strange how they parade these kids around for things like their "first photoshoot" and "first premiere" as if they're some weird cross of Nell and Eliza Doolittle, when real, honest-to-God celebrities seem to be sincerely invested in the show. Why would a ventriloquist's dummy care about the marionettes?

I think Fox should combine their reality shows. For instance, instead of Matt automatically getting another chance he should have to go on Hell's Kitchen. If Ramsay thinks he has the best performance, he gets another shot at becoming the American Idol. If not, he goes home. Ratings go up for everyone.

@uninspired: I completely disagree with you, uninspired. And it frustrates me that no one sees Matt's potential. Sure, he didnt do so well on Tuesday night, however, Lil Rounds should have been voted off weeks ago. She doesnt sing as well as she did in auditions and Hollywood weeks, her hair styles have gone from good, to bad, to worse, her song choices have been horrible, and every week they tell her that her performance was awful.

Who would they have used that save on anyways? They had two weeks left to use it...Lil wasnt worth saving, and there's no way Gokey or Adam are going home next week.... I love Matt, and I'm so glad the judges see potential in him.
