But the New York Post is a cash drain and it doesn't provide that much political influence. The Wall Street Journal has more clout with the permanent establishment and Fox News with the Right.
And I guess that's why Murdoch sometimes reveals his displeasure with the Post's troglodytic tendencies. He'd be more careful about crossing Ailes.
