    It's sort of true, though.


    I mean I think he's been a good mayor, but we had term limits rules. Whatevs he got his way. And he'll get his way again.


    Frankly, NY'ers are a bunch of sheep who don't really care until you piss them off personally but still we reelected Giuliani twice. And The same 5 or 10 NY politicians are often the ones who vie for Mayor which is boring so who cares. We care more about who's the new Yankee than Mayor.

    @The Real JR: We reelected him twice because crime dropped 63% while that little tyrant was in office. "He cleaned up New York!" was a common refrain. But at what cost, people? At what cost? Times Square is an abomination. Where am I going to find porn now? On the google?

    The story doesn't mention that the same poll shows Bloomberg has a 58% job approval rating. When it comes to incumbents running for reelection, that's the only number that matters.
