It just makes sense, though. With the Dalai Lama owning the Dolphins outright and the estate of Mother Theresa mainitaining a controlling interest in the NY Giants, it'd be unseemly to have him in that group. #rushlimbaugh

And quite frankly, if anyone can dig up audio files from that time frame it would probably lay this whole thing to rest.
Speaking only for myself as a 40-something white Oaklander who's lived through some particularly disheartening periods in this country's past, I feel wholeheartedly that Limbaugh is a thoroughly disgusting individual and a sick-minded bully.
Hopefully history will put him where he belongs - in the same round file as the likes of Father Coughlin and Joe McCarthy. #rushlimbaugh

That being said, he's constantly saying race baiting garbage that he knows will grab headlines. His whole McNabb thing is a perfect example. His point was something he could argue wasn't racist at all, and yet the entire argument depended on a somewhat racist diatribe. He wasn't off attacking a white top-1o quarterback he felt was overrated. There are plenty he could have picked. But he purposefully chose the black one and tried to make the argument that the overrating was based on race.
I don't know what else to say... but... uh... he's gross. #rushlimbaugh

What world do we live in that this kind of statement can pass under the radar as merely maybe, possibly, supposedly, kinda-sorta racist. It's plainly, clearly, and directly racist to hold Obama responsible for black-on-white crime merely because he shares the skin color of the perpetrator. I mean, isn't it?
I don't think it's as much a matter of Rush Limbaugh being this super-intelligent bigot, but rather of a society so far into post-racial la-la land that you basically can't be considered a racist unless you call somebody a nigger. This is like the Polanski defenders who say "well, it wasn't rape-rape." I guess this kind of stuff just racism-racism.

That's his job. Like an attorney, I don't hold it against him.
The attacks from Sharpton and Jackson played right into his hands. He gets free publicity and compared to them looks like an angel.
And if you review his response to the whole thing carefully, you will see that his PR team (who earn their millions) put out an INSTANT and aggressive defense based soley on attacking his accusers, and 'impeaching' the two basic quotes that were false. Which of course makes the rest of the evidence look false also, and hence, the case is won. #rushlimbaugh

Also... I tend to find that most of these quotes pulled are the super inflammatory nugget dropped in the middle of a big rant... the rest of which we don't usually hear, but is usually his fallback to explain how he was taken out of context. #rushlimbaugh
