    @Streeter: As someone who reads TheMandyMoore on a regular basis, I'd like to argue that this is probably just to differentiate from someone else who legitimately has the same name but got it before the celebrity, but then I recognized who I was writing about and the idiocy contained within this post, and I've forgotten my point.

    What is the point of Twitter? If anyone can just pretend to be anyone else, why bother "following" them? So that you can say "I have a personal relationship with Michael Lohan?" My mother always called these sorts of things "big moments in little lives."

    Suicide is painless. It brings on many changes. I can tweet about it if I please.

    Was going to say something striving to be meaningful about the trivializing suicide and online exhibitionism, but fuck it. I get a bit of a thrill being among the first few thousand to know. I knew there was a reason I'm sitting in my bed refreshing twitter at 3:30 in the morning again! My life might be an empty abyss of nothingness, but I'm on top of suicide tweet watch. How many boring bitches with stable lives and sleep schedules can say the same?

    Not sure that it matters, but here's a screen cap I took earlier that includes one extra tweet than the one above.

    Also, re: the deletion, there were only 17 tweets on the account, going back two days. This is not to say that it was a new account -- it wasn't -- but that he's deleted tweets en masse before, so it's not unlikely that he did it again.
