    Why the fuck is a beauty pageant paying for breast implants anyway? What kind of fucked up shit is that?

    I'm not defending that idiot Prejean woman, but fuck the Miss California USA Pageant. I hope they never get their $5,000 back - it'd serve them right for paying to mutilate a woman's body and then holding that up as a standard to all the little girls who watch that pageant as something that's required to be "beautiful."

    I don't know about your assessment. Their countersuit will (a) probably make this lawsuit go away faster, and (b) remind her followers that she posed (semi) naked and got a boob job.     Grr--this woman didn't lose the pageant because she was against gay marriage. She lost because her answer was incoherent and sputtering, and she talked about how "this is the way they do things in *my* country" (as opposed to all the other countries the other girls were representing).     So, as long as you talk about Jesus, regardless of what you actually do, the religious right will embrace you and pay you boat loads of money to speak. Nude photos, fake breasts, lying, sleeping with hookers (or young boys, or guys you meet in bathrooms, or non-hooker women who aren't your wife, etc., etc.) are all ok as long as you talk about how much you hate gays and Obama but love Jesus (of course, not enough to give up those other things you're doing).
