    Fox News is awesome! I just saw a news crawl that says shark attacks go down during economic downturns. I did not make that up.


    I think the sole purpose of purpose of Fox News is to keep its viewers' attention focused on chimp dicks, shark attacks and Glen Beck's 10th grade rants.


    But that's just because, you know, I'm biased.

    And why the hell is it that no one noticed that Ben has been beaten up and has a broken arm?

    No one has commented on Ben's injuries because they're all heartily sick of his attention-seeking, whiny and self-centred behaviour.

    I too wanted to know why there were random people on the plane when Hurley bought out all of the seats.


    The Ben thing is rather curious, considering they were all together 36 hours ago and he was just fine. I have my theories on why Ben was beaten up but I don't want to spoil the epi for you.

    @DevilsAvocado: I actually gave up during Season 3 about 2 episodes in. However, Santa brought my husband Season 3 on DVD and I watched it with him. I got totally sucked back in. It's amazing how you can overlook plot flaws when you are inundated by a sheer volume of episodes.

    @OrneryBabe: I realized that he was the chopper pilot when it was pointed out to me...and I still had a hard time believing it. He cleaned up VERY well.

    Do you think Ben was beaten up by "Brutha?"

    And in terms of the plane seats, I just thought it was strange that the guy talked to Jack at the airport, and then ended up in the Oceanic 6 private section...

    This is so weird. On one hand, I feel that many of these comments are borderline. On the other hand, in this day and age, they look...bad.


    Thing is, I never make the black person - monkey connection, but now for some reason it's everywhere. It would never enter my mind normally, but now it's as if every monkey reference is potentially racist.
