    Countries with strange mysticism have always seemed backwardly beautiful. Consider the state of Kaivalya, or bowing toward Mecca as one: intoxicating and unique, but also harbinger of a third-world shithole run by a junta or a despot. Now, America stops working during a hoax/promotional stunt and a psychic wife explains with a completely serious, knowing expression that her mother's intuition (and likely complicitude with her dipshit husband) is the gift of the third eye.

    On Wife Swap's 100th episode, she spent time with her swapped spouse, a scientist, who made it his mission during the show to experiment on her abilities. She performed a past life regression on him, portions of which were shown on air. Finally, at the end of the show, he proclaimed her "the real thing".

    The crackpot dad who hoaxed his son floating away in his science project trusts in her psychic abilities, you can't pay for qualifications like that.
