    Okay, Taylor, you've successfully completed Step One.

    Step Two involves dropping hints that you'd be okay with tasteful nudity "for the right part."

    In Step Three you've got to be seen leaving Gerard Butler's house in the early dawn hours.

    Step Four entails a grainy video of some sort, with your face clearly visible for a moment.

    After that, the rest of the Steps kind of sort themselves out.

    This actually helps preserve Limbaugh's conservative cred. I can think of no other group of entitled corporate welfare whoring government tit-suckers than professional sports franchise owners. I mean, have you ever heard of a professional sports stadium not being built by taxpayers, while these disgusting fat cats reap all the rewards, including concessions? Please.

    First they came for the defense contractors, and I said, "go ahead, give 'em a few trillion."

    Then they came for the i-bankers and hedge funders and I said, "go ahead, give 'em a few trillion."

    Then they came for the pharmaceuticals and health insurance companies and I said, "give 'em whatever they want. And who cares who they let die in the process."

    Finally, they came for the professional sports franchises and I said, "gimme, gimme, gimme," just like my hero, George W. Bush.

    This country could use a good purge. #rushlimbaugh

    @brilliantmoron: Not sure there's that much to get. I was pretty gobsmacked that redstate chose to use that sermon in that context. But I do know that Rush and his cronies both in the NFL and throughout the ownership classes of this country have used government as their personal ATMs for as long as I've been alive (which is probably too long by half at this point) and I think it's typical that their apologists on the rightwing blogs fail to acknowledge that while comparing this guy not getting his way with 6 million Europeans dying in death camps. #rushlimbaugh

    Didn't actually mean to double post, so I'll use this post to point out that people have a right to work for whomever they want in this country, and the reason this deal was scotched, as reported here and other places this weekend, is that an overwhelming majority of black NFL players didn't want to play for this guy. Were this a totalitarian authoritarian state like, say, Iran or China, that wouldn't matter. So...yay, free market!
