You guys are correct. I was confusing his role another movie with his non-existent role in Squid. Appropriately, said movie never made it to the theaters. Either way, he sucked in it.
I think this is sad, but not sure, because I think Russian roulette is crazy, silly, insane, nut jobbiness personified. So I'm kinda like, oh,no/wha?/why/sheesh. And I'd like Stiller to try drama, because I'm soooo tired of his loud, screechy-man overacting, while beating us over the head with his non-funnyness ness.
I find it very weird that the woman didn't even do anything criminal but felt compelled to turn herself in. Although she did run away from the scene, which might be criminal. Don't get me wrong, I believe that this was self-inflicted. But what a strange story.
Also, I kind of hated Margot at the Wedding. Like, I was surprised by how much I hated it. All these miserable people being miserable in a way that was supposed to be arty and profound. I found it just miserable.
@lalaland13: Your description applies equally to Squid and the Whale, which was entertaining like listening to a little girl whine for an hour is entertaining.

And he's been amazing in so many films, most notably You Can Count on Me but also Zodiac and even that depressing movie last year Reservation Road.
