    this is so fucking sad. letterman is a champion, was carson's favorite, and has created something completely different from leno's jerky campyness over the last 20 years.

    it's unbelievable how so many people in this country simply have nothing better to do with their time.

    Letterman is going to milk this for all it's worth. His ratings are already up. These loons are the equivalent of a "Caution, Explicit Lyrics" sticker on a pop album. Guaranteed gold! There are plenty of sponsors grateful for the extra ad views this "controversy" is getting them.

    I almost (but not quite) wish that I dined with frequency (or at all) at The Olive Garden so that I could stop going in boycott but, OH WELL. Now if the Bagel place on the corner takes a similar stand I'M THERE!
