    I'd agree with Wolff here. The fact that she still has supporters (a not insignificant amount, from the looks of it) in spite of such a public meltdown during and after the election is evidence that she is a force to be reckoned with. In other words, she's important and influential not because of her own knowledge and ability, but because lots of people are still willing to listen to her. It may not make any sense, but it's a fact.

    My guess is that Palin gets a list of "talking points" from her advisors and then goes all Benjy Compson on her Dell (Macs are for socialists) for an hour or so. Then, the same advisors take what she's written and de-Palinize it all -- basically ending at the beginning.

    Pareene, you should totally go through one of her columns/Facebook notes one of these days and re-Palinize it, as the result would likely be hilarious.
