this was from the last series I was supposed to run on Gawker, "Inside the Commenter's Studio". It fell through the fault lines of staff turmoil etc, but it was a labor of love from myself and Richard Blakeley, who shot the video and designed the graphic, with the noble agenda of digging deep into the dark souls of all you lovely gold-starred free-content providers.
The videos have been lost, but the spirit of a Gawker commenter never dies. Or something. Right?
