    @rudi_freude: I admit I can be a tad naive when it comes to general human intelligence, so I do share your fear deep down.


    Then again, unless I've missed it, Carrie doesn't seem to have anything interesting or entertaining, or even noteworthy, to say to anyone on either side of the political spectrum. She's simply not relevant, and not even entertaining or charming enough to make up for it. It's hard to imagine that once the novelty of "those darn gays got me fired" wears off, anyone will be able to find a reason to keep her around.
