    I think I read someplace that there is an Italian law that forces all businesses to hire the mentally challenged and promote them as they would any other employee. Good for them.

    I would think that the spots of blush are deliberate, but then I see that she has no idea where her lips begin and end. Is that part of the ensemble?

    I love her and I think everyone else should as well. It would be so easy to put on a fab suit and have her hair perfectly coiffed, but this? This take a real sense of self, a sense i hope to never discover. She is also owning her look, s opposed to something contrived for publicity.     I read somewhere that she goes out dressed like this everywhere, not just the fashion shows. For some reason, I love that.


    And for a second I thought that woman in the middle was Kate Moss.

    @Looker: I've never seen a shot of her where she wasn't done up like a combination of Isabella Blow and one of Fellini's wilder characters, and for that, I love her too. So much more interesting than the bird-boned Wintour's tans and charcoals and furs.

    @Looker: Anna Piaggi probably doesn't even pick up the newspaper without the full hair, makeup and outfit. For her, clothes are art and she is NO minimalist.
