Anybody interested in getting on the ball and putting the Letterman Confesses video back up? CBS has taken it down.

By most accounts, Morgenthau remains quite vigorous but is extremely hard of hearing. That doesn't make him incompetent--it just makes him look bad in a TV press conference. All the media people who comment here ought to know the difference.

Just seems that he is hard of hearing, not mentally incompetent. Hard to say as the video consists solely of clips of him having trouble hearing and nothing else; not exactly "objective." Way to go fox news!

Aw, you guys, stop. He's awesome! He's on it! He eats the Mob for breakfast! With a shitload of prunes, to be sure, but how many blackmailers did YOU take down this week?

    Yeah, I thought so.

Fuck! That promotion from Executive Assistant DA to full-blown DA has not been kind to Jack McCoy. I hope he has robot insurance.

@Richard Petty Bourgeoisie: It's been all downhill since Adam Schiff. The kindly old lady was capable, but not suited for politics. Don't get me started on the carpetbaggin' good 'ole boy. He wasn't fit for dog-catcher in this town.

I thought McInerney had it written into his contract that only Chip Kidd could do his covers... and this doesn't look like one of his to me.

The makeover is eye-pleasing, but I feel like I've seen it done this way at least 657th times. Huh. And I don't think I'm even counting all the SNL Saturdays, either.

Also, I would hope they would keep that Raymond Carver blurb in some sort of prominence; that bit o' honey is something to cherish. Anyone ever read Cathedral? Ahh.
