Well Joanie, I hope in your dull Salon meeting you all finally decided to fire your pet contrarian columnist, Camille Paglia. She doesn't belong on Salon.
@Arceus: @RubberNekkeur: She used to weigh more. I think she's obsessed with food on the show because she can't eat what she wants and stay on TV (or so she thinks or has been told).
@TheHonJudgeSmails: You’re wrong and right. In Italy, they always say brusketta. The ch always indicates a hard k in Italian. But in American English, most people say brushetta. So, as an American, since I don’t want to be terribly pretentious and explain to the waiter and my dinner companions why brusketta is terribly correct, I say brushetta.
On a related note, my desire not to be a pretentious ass is also one reason I do not Twitter.
@LuisDobbs: @Brawndo: Yeah, her first-ever post on Twitter says she's excited about Baby Momma coming out. Don't think she'd misspell her own movie's name.
@Housebroken(mostly): Agreed. The only thing more mundane and uninteresting than these tweets is a blog post aggregating them. Doesn't Owen have some "mainstream-media-outlets-are-failing-and..." posts he can marshal? Surely, SOMETHING happened regarding The New York Times that can be ridiculed in a mindless and substance-lacking way!

I would give you credit for that.
Until then, would you please stop writing filler articles on unknown people who are doing banal things?
