He's an emoting little flower in his "Blasted" review. I can deal with that, as long as he doesn't do a Michael Riedel and become a BTS process-story whore.
I really don't need to know about Rocco Landesman's marital details.
Sure, why hire the competent interesting theater critic the paper desperately needs when you can just move someone from another department? And hey, he's gay...all gay men love theater and know how to write about it, right?
@City_Dater: Yeah, they should hire Scott Eckern, the artistic director of the California Musical Theater who was just forced to resign because of his $1,000 contribution in support of Prop 8.
And, since you're writing that Healy will never forget about the Clintons, you should go all out and mention that Denton publicly embarrassed Healy by posting his private dating profile. If we're talking petty vendettas and muckraking, I mean.
I actually know the Healy backstory and the play and the episode of the West Wing in question and...I also have no idea what's going on in this post. So count me in Trixie.
@Trixie from Toronto: I don't think I'm having any trouble following this, but if making huffy, late-ish phone calls is the worst thing Healy's attributing to the Clinton campaign, I don't really get why this post is all "Oh, SNAP!" about it.
Obama staffers have reacted with paranoia when people write something unflattering, or their newspaper doesn't endorse him. But so few do that, Healy wouldn't notice.
@plasticene: And your proof for this assertion would be? I mean, Healy presumably knows what he's talking about. Maybe you do, too, but I'm currently ignorant of your bona fides, and would appreciate your enlightening me.
