<![CDATA[ Florida's First Epstein Sex Suit Filed! ]]> The first civil suit against alleged former Radar investor and theoretical billionaire Jeffrey Epstein is underway! An anonymous 14-year-old girl is suing Epstein for $50 million for various terrible, terrible things. Epstein, you see, (allegedly!) enjoys the company of destitute young teenagers. According to Jane Doe, an Epstein associate would offer the girls $200 to $300 for performing a simple massage on a creepy billionaire. When they arrived in his bedroom, Epstein would "remove his towel, lay down naked on the massage table, and direct the girl to remove her clothes. He then would perform one or more lewd, lascivious and sexual acts, including masturbation and touching the girl's vagina with a vibrator." Then he would pay them. Don't worry, Epstein fans: Page Six has been on top of this story since well before day one and they already peremptorily attacked the credibility of any girl anywhere who might eventually come forward with similar stories. <![CDATA[ Flashers Infiltrate Macy's ]]> flasher.jpgThe other day, we learned that "flashing and groping have long been problems in New York." You don't say! Of the 556 arrests for public lewdness in 2006, there were 29 made on the subway as part of a sting operation called Operation Exposure. (Hee!) But perhaps cops should consider expanding it to the city's mid-range department stores.

A 16-year-old girl shopping in Macy's for a dress got a bit more than she bargained for in the dressing room:

The bizarre violence happened at 1:50 p.m. Sunday, when Ashley went with her boyfriend to buy a dress in the Junior Girls Department, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office said.

She said she was going to wear it at a birthday party for her boyfriend's mom, and also was considering it for her prom.

She took it into a dressing room on the fourth floor of the store.

Dennis Green, 60, was lurking in an adjacent dressing room, where allegedly he stripped off his clothes.

As Ashley began trying on the dress, Green stepped out and ripped open the door to her dressing room, authorities said.

Also, Green's dressing room "was filled with cigarette butts and trash" when he was arrested. So maybe Macy's really just needs a janitor.

<![CDATA[ Former 'US Weekly' Reporter Sentenced to 6 Years For Being A Perv, Pedophile ]]> Perhaps you recall the story of Timothy McDarrah, the US Weekly reporter who liked to meet young girls over the Internet until one of them turned out to be a federal agent. He was convicted back in December of "using the Internet to attempt to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity," and now he's been sentenced to six years in the pokey. The U.S. District Attorney's Office took the occasion to remind us, again, about just what a perv McDarrah is in its press release.

McDARRAH initially responded to an undercover advertisement the FBI had posted on June 22, 2005, in the "erotic services" section of the Internet website "Craigslist," offering the "freshest, youngest girls" available in New York City. Following an exchange of emails prompted by that advertisement, McDARRAH asked, "what it'll cost for the cutest white 14 year old girl with a pony tail in the whole 8th grade." McDARRAH specified in graphic terms the sexual activities he desired, agreed to pay $200 for oral sex with a thirteen-year-old girl, and made plans to meet the girl on July 7, 2005. However, he did not appear at that meeting.

Thereafter, McDARRAH, using the Internet screen name PS41alum@aol.com, communicated over the Internet with "Julie," whom McDARRAH believed to be a thirteen-year-old girl, but who was actually an undercover FBI agent posing as a young girl. From July 21, 2005 through September 14, 2005, McDARRAH, then 43 years old, communicated with "Julie" via instant messages, e-mails, and two telephone conversations. Among other things, McDARRAH wrote that he would tutor her to get into high school, and provide her with "sex lessons."

<![CDATA[ Peter Braunstein's Deepest Wounds Self-Inflicted ]]> braunstein.jpgOh, poor Peter Braunstein! The W staff-stalker and fake firefighter's lawyer says Braunstein has a blood clot in his brain and was been found bleeding from the ears. Not only that, he has a fractured skull. But no one knows how he got it! Could another inmate have bashed his head in? After all, he was moved to a high-security area of the prison after inmates threatened to slit his throat. But word is that Braunstein actually broke his skull himself, by hitting his head repeatedly against the sink in his cell. (Sounds like someone had a bad case of the Mondays!) All will undoubtedly be revealed at the trial—jury selection begins next week. BTW, please get down there and on that jury so you can tell us all about it!

<![CDATA[ Maybe All NYU Dorms Come With Pervy Pryers ]]> third%20north.jpgAfter reading the account of being spied on while living at Coral Towers, another NYU student weighed in with her own tale of pervishness:
I lived in Third North on 3rd Ave & 11th St in 2002-2003. We lived in the room at the end of the hall, next to the maintenance closet where all the cleaning supplies were kept. One night the boys next door hijacked a moving cart and used it to bust into the closet, which was locked. They went in to steal some mops or something and found a that a large hole had been carved into the wall. One of them looked in, and said, "Hey, I think I can see into your shower!" It turns out one of the cleaning staff had been watching us shower from the wall vent for more than half the semester.

<![CDATA[ NYU's Coral Towers Dorm Has Peeping Toms ]]> DSCF0069.jpgOur column about the former gay sex emporium at 14th and 3rd (now the site of a Duane Reade and an NYU dorm!) inspired a letter from a resident of NYU's Coral Towers. Apparently NYU dorms are just giant tempting high-rises full of nubile coeds on display—and now the residents are, oddly enough, tired of the men across the way who like to gaze upon them while self-fondling.

I'm an NYU student who lives in Coral Towers, that place above Duane Reede with the Buddy Booths. If you really want some action, just come into Coral and look into any of the adjacent buildings. There are perverts out there who watch us all the time. On Monday night my roommates and I faced a major problem. Our "peeping Tom," who has been watching us since the first week in September, took things too far. (His apartment is also backlit with a red light). He had binoculars and proceeded to take his shirt off, rub his stomach and press himself against the window for 3 hours. The RA on duty, two campus safety officers and the NYPD came to investigate. Turns out, this has been a problem before with onlookers from other surrounding buildings. The NYPD went to our peeper's apartment at 3am. Apparently his name is Todd and he received a stern warning.
We're glad to see that deep in the recesses of the East Village, some vestiges of good old New York perviness still exist. Good on ya, Todd!

<![CDATA[ Tim McDarrah Re-Convicted in the Press ]]> timothy%20mcdarrah.jpgCertainly, it sucks to be Timothy McDarrah, former Us Weekly and Las Vegas Sun columnist who was convicted December 20 for soliciting Internet sexing with little girls. After McDarrah's 2005 arrest, the sordid details of his proclivities were inflicted on an unfortunate public. Nevertheless, it's a stroke of bad luck that McDarrah was found guilty at the start of a dead holiday news cycle, as all it takes is an AP retread of last week's news to spawn a raft of "new" reports about how McDarrah was "just convicted." Cheer up ... only a couple more days before we can all stop phoning it in.

<![CDATA[ Dirty 'US Weekly' Reporter Found Guilty of Liking Little Girls a Little Too Much ]]> SP32-20061115-144813-1.jpgRemember when US Weekly reporter Timothy McDarrah was fired because he'd been arrested for soliciting sex with a minor? Yeah, kinda puts the alleged proclivities of certain New Yorker staffers to shame. Anyway, McDarrah was found guilty yesterday "of using the Internet to attempt to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity" after an eight-day jury trial. (McDarrah was apparently too good for a plea. Sucker!) The press release we got about the verdict had some deliciously disgusting details about McDarrah's crimes, which we've reprinted after the jump.

As the evidence at trial established: McDARRAH initially responded to an undercover advertisement the FBI had posted on June 22, 2005, in the "erotic services" section of the Internet website "Craigslist," offering the "freshest, youngest girls" available in New York City. Following an exchange of e-mails prompted by that advertisement, McDARRAH asked, "what it'll cost for the cutest white 14 year old girl with a pony tail in the whole 8th grade." McDARRAH specified in graphic terms the sexual activities he desired, agreed to pay $200 for oral sex with a thirteen-year old girl, and made plans to meet the girl on July 7, 2005. However, he did not appear at that meeting. Thereafter, McDARRAH, using the Internet screen name "PS41alum@aol.com," communicated over the Internet with "Julie," whom McDARRAH believed to be a thirteen-year girl, but who was actually an undercover FBI agent posing as a young girl. From July 21, 2005 through September 14, 2005, McDARRAH, then 43 years old, communicated with "Julie" via instant messages, e-mails, and two telephone conversations. Among other things, McDARRAH wrote that he would tutor her to get her into high school, and provide her with "sex lessons."

McDARRAH also described his job at US Weekly and wrote about how he interviewed and reported about the lives of celebrities such as Renee Zellweger and Jennifer Lopez. McDARRAH also e-mailed a photograph of himself to "Julie." In addition, at McDARRAH's request, "Julie" sent McDARRAH a picture, purporting to be her, of a real 13-year old girl. During his electronic communications with "Julie," McDARRAH told her he needed to be careful of whether law enforcement was involved, and even sent her an newspaper article of a man who was arrested in Pennsylvania for going after an undercover officer posing as a 13-year old in a chatroom. McDARRAH told "Julie" that he wanted her "to see what trouble" he could get into with her, and stated: "Hope this never happens to me!!!" McDARRAH also went to the area where he believed "Julie" was living in an effort to see her. McDARRAH wrote "Julie" that he went
there twice; the third time McDARRAH appeared at the location, FBI agents arrested him.
The evidence at trial also showed that McDARRAH sent e-mails in response to other advertisements, asking if they were really 18 and stating that younger was fine with him. McDARRAH resides in Manhattan. From in or about October 2004 through September 2005, McDARRAH worked as an editor and reporter for US Weekly Magazine, a subsidiary of Wenner Media L.L.C. Under the PROTECT Act of 2003, McDARRAH faces a mandatory minimum of five years' imprisonment and a maximum of 30 years' imprisonment on the child enticement count.
