    @SuzieQ I Love You: I used to take one horrifically expensive drug, neurontin, which passes through the body unmetabolized apparently and can be recaptured from urine. It would have made sense to do so under the right conditions.

    Aren't some drugs (Coumadin) actually rat poison? Maybe someone just forgot to clean the equipment between drugs.

    Yup. When my mother was still with us, she had to take Coumadin for a time and would refer to it as rat poison.

    Not to be a spoilsport, but this ad isn’t against generics. It’s an ad in favor of prescriptions—for doing things the right way. It’s against ordering meds from outfits that will send them to you without a prescription.


    If you order from a company so unscrupulous that it’ll send you medicine—brand name or generic—without a prescription, don’t be surprise if you get capsules full of rat shit.

    @iplaudius: I dunno. I got some non-prescription Viagra, and it had some of the effect of prescription -- it made me temporarily blind.

    How do I find out if my pills are made of Rat? I buy generics as I'd rather pay $16 a month for my prescrptions instead of $50 a month. I guess in these tough ecomonic times a little rat goes a long way.
