Serious error in judgement - this time, on EE's part.

...the bastard child???
If anyone in that wretched situation is innocent, it's certainly the child. No need to stigmatize her even more by using that outdated and judgmental term. Her own mother and Mrs. Edwards are doing a fine job of that without your help.

Or is he using this as an indirect accusation that his mistress sleeps around too much to remember who she conceived her child with?

I'm not typically interested in affairs, so excuse my ignorance, but thanks for the insight.

Yes, it's unfortunate, I feel for Elizabeth, his libido must be the bane of his existance, I'm sure the shame and guilt he feels is overwhelming.
Please, America, move past this.

I would love to see John talk his way out of this one, but it's not like Elizabeth Edwards needs one more bit of confirmation that her husband lied about the affair (that it had stopped well before Rielle supposedly became pg) and the outcome (that the child isn't his).

I love that she would speak to Oprah about the situation with the caveat that Rielle's name not be uttered. I think I would do the same thing.
